Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup HotBoy Hot Sauce
Instructions:
-
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This allows air to circulate around the wings for extra crispiness.
-
Prepare the Wings:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. The drier the wings, the crispier they will be.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
-
Bake the Wings:
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they are not touching each other.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
-
Coat with HotBoy Hot Sauce:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the baked wings with the HotBoy Hot Sauce. Toss until the wings are well coated with the sauce.
-
Serve:
- Transfer the wings to a serving platter.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce and sides like celery sticks, carrot sticks, or a creamy blue cheese dip.
Tips:
- Grilling Option: For an extra smoky flavor, you can grill the wings instead of baking them. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and grill the wings for about 20-25 minutes, flipping occasionally, until crispy and fully cooked.
- Air Fryer Option: You can also use an air fryer for even crispier wings. Cook the wings at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Enjoy your delicious, crispy, and spicy BBQ wings with the unique flavor of HotBoy Hot Sauce!
